The well-maintained Chainat Bird Park, situated on 75 rai of land, features large aviaries allowing various bird species to live in their natural habitat. The park also has medium-sized and smaller cages displaying exotic birds, a garden, a swimming pool, a suspended bridge, and a pavilion in the middle of a lake.

The nation’s first dam is the vast Chao Phraya Dam that is beautifully decorated with flowers and trees. During February, over 10,000 waterfowls migrate here to inhabit the area upstream from the dam.

The ancient Wat Phra Borom That Chainat is believed to have been constructed during the Ayutthaya era. Buddha’s relics are contained in the main chedi. Within the temple grounds is the Chainat National Museum that contains important historical artifacts pertaining to Chainat.

In Sakburi District is an impressively striking ancient chedi that artfully combined the artform of the Sukhothai and Srivichai styles. The chedi is located within Wat Phra Kaew.

Wat Pak Klong Makamtao is situated where the Tacheen River diverged from the Chao Phraya River in Wat Sing District. It is famous for its protective amulets and the highly revered senior Buddhist monk Luang Poo Suk, the religious teacher to H.R.H. Prince Chumphon. Within the ubosoth (hall) are religious paintings drawn by the prince himself.
