Lanna
Farm :
A large and very beautiful teak house situated in the rural
heart of Northern Thailand, surrounded by rice fields and
orchards. Lanna Farm preserves the best of Thai country
traditional ways, with a hint of luxury for the discerning
guest seeking peace, natural beauty and tranquility. Located
100 kilometres north of Chiang Mai, three kilometers southwest
of the small town of Phrao. Ringed by tall mountains on
three sides, in a small valley of emerald green rice fields
and tropical orchards, the ambiance is exotic and completely
charming. The beautiful furnishings and decorations are
all in local style. Activities around the farm emphasis
the rural traditions celebrated in the farm. Water buffalo
and a mini museum of local culture are all on the site.

Morning depart from your hotel in Chiang Mai by local
truck to a small charming town of Phrao (north of Chiang
Mai). Start with a market tour to see and buy some indredients
and needed things for cooking lesson. Then, proceed
to the Lanna Farm. Late
morning, experience with full Thai cooking lesson,
the course includes :
-Herbal garden tour
-Introduction of Thai ingredients
-Demonstration and cooking of 5 dishes.
-Comprehensive and easy to follow recipe book
-Enjoy having your lunch cooked and eating all prepared
food
Afternoon, start Thai
dessert cooking that you can test and take away. Next
take a cycling tour to visit Aui Kham House, experiencing
traditional curing and herbal medicine processing
for local people by Aui Kham (more than 60 years experience).
Then transfer back to Chiang Mai.
