The Village Tour, Depart by jeep or Longtail boat ( depending on the wheather). Stop at a rubber plantation and find out how the islanders process latex to sheets of rubber. Continue the ride through the rice fields and watch water buffalos and local bird species. Go shopping at local fruit and fish markets. Have lunch in one of the many roadside kitchens or some of the local restaurants. Continue exploring around the island and arrive at Ta Kao village where a group of local women are decorating Thai silk with batik pictures. You will be able to see what the local fishermen caught today and may buy some of their catch for dinner.
