Mae Tang River White Water Rafting & Elephant Riding, The Mae Tang River is Thailand's most famous and fastest white water river, which is about 80 kms out of Chiang Mai. The raft run is a level 4+ and about 10 kms distance. Our primary concern is for your safety, which we explain clearly during the briefing and practice session. For this trip, apart from white water rafting down the Mae Tang River. You will also be riding on an elephant along the Mae Tang River and through the tropical monsoon rainforest jungle for about 45 minutes.
