After a long train ride or coach ride from Bangkok which often takes up to 8 hours, or a one hour flight to the nearby Samui island, then an express boat or ferry ride taking another one to two hours, you arrive the island’s main town Thong Sala. From there, another exciting 45 minutes up a forested jungle, several ravines, passing through dirt road, falling boulder, water fall and through a running stream, you finally find yourself arriving at a beautiful bay of deep blue color, white sandy beach flanked by the foot of a mountain range. This is Baan Panburi, a breathtaking sight that is pictured as a signature view of Koh Pha Ngan.
