| Day 1 : Thai
farming village visit, city tour (Thai-Burma Railway Museum and war cemetery),
train ride along the historical Death Railway, leisure cruise (3.30 hours)
from the Bridge on the River Kwai to Mae Klong River, overnight stay on

| 07.00 : | Pick up by a/c van from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi. |
| 09.00 : | Reach Kanchanaburi, then start to have the local insight through a visit to the traditional Thai farming village near the town. Learn about the local beliefs during a visit to the village shrine and the rice paddy field with its impressive panoramic view. Drop by at the fan palm orchard to observe how the locals collect the palm products ( the fan palm season is from Jan-June). Try some local products and a variety of tropical fruits regarded the best in the world. Then the demonstration of a ritual to strengthen and comfort the spirit of the Rice Goddess will enhance your understanding of the role the rice plantation has played in Thai farming community. |
| 10.30 : | Return to the village along the dirt track cutting through the fields. En route, observe some seasonal activities and pleasant sight of cattle, lotus, sugar cane and corn farms. Enjoy learning how to make sticky-rice crisps with the locals. Glimpse a cluster of typical Thai-styled houses then earthen pots reflecting the local belief in their ancestral spirit. |
| 11.30 : | Coffee served with fan palm cake in the area under the house. Then visit the village weaving centre formed by a local women group. Apart from hand-woven clothes, bamboo handicrafts with high quality and sticky-rice and palm toddy (very much like wine) locally produced are also available. |
| 12.30 : | Return to the temple, then the town. Lunch at local restaurant. |
| 13.30 : | Continue to the war cemetery, then the newly established, nicely designed and well presented Thai-Burma Railway museum. |
| 15.00 : | Leave for the train station in Saiyok area. |
| 16.00 : | Experience one of the world’s great rail journeys from Wang Po station. Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the blessing River Kwai Valley. The view is so impressive when the train approaches Krasae Cave. |
| 16.30 : | Get off at Ta Kilen station. Pick up by van and continue to the town. Get on board the private floating rafthouse (River Kwai at Leisure Rafthouse) at the Bridge on the River Kwai. Enjoy the fabulous scenery along the worldwide famous historical river. Sights of the Buddhist temples atop the hill and spot local activities along the riversides and the scenic river with its magnificent limestone mountain backdrop. Be impressed with the carpet of majestic lotus lining the riverbank. |
| 19.00 : | Dinner served fresh on board the floating rafthouse. Enjoy the overnight stay amidst the serenity on Mae Klong (or better known as the River Kwai). |
| Day 2 : Thai
and Chinese Temples visit, leisure cruise from Mae Klong to the River
Kwai, scenic drive to Sangklaburi the borderland, overnight stay at Ponnatee
resort (minimum western standard ) overlooking the lake with its spectacular

| 07.00 : | Enjoy breakfast in the peaceful atmosphere on the hidden stretch of Mae Klong. |
| 08.00 : | Take a long – tailed boat to the Thai and Chinese Buddhist temples atop the hill. A nice walk along an approximate 800 metres route cutting through a local village and its banana orchards. Cable cars, or walk if preferred , will take you up to the top of the Thai pagoda which provides a fascinating view of the rice paddy fields over the vast area of Mae Klong basin. |
| 09.30 : | Walk down and then return to the rafthouse. Start cruising back along Mae Klong to the River Kwai. Then refresh and rejuvenate yourself throughout the course of Exclusive Thai Touch Package (traditional Thai body massage + hot herbal ball compress or aromatherapy massage upon individual request, 60-90 minutes). Lunch served fresh on board the rafthouse. |
| 13.00 : | Dock at the River Kwai. Pick up by van and continue a journey to the borderland of Sangklaburi. Enjoy the mountainous scenery all the way. |

| Day 3 : Elephant ride
at traditional Karen village on Kanchanaburi’s nicest elephant riding

| 07.30 : | Early morning wake up, then ABF at the resort. |
| 08.30 : | Check out and leave for the Karen elephant village. |
| 09.00 : | Upon arrival, start the elephant riding from the village into the nearby jungle up and down the mountainous terrain inside the national park. The riding runs along, apparently, the Thailand’s most beautiful elephant track that cuts through the village’s hill farms before leading to a gorgeous stream in the natural area with its tropical spell and dramatic landscapes featuring pristine forests and gorges (2 hours riding approx.) |
| 11.00 : | Return to Sangklaburi town. Mon Temple visit. Shopping of wooden items (kitchen utensils or for home decoration) can be very attractive due to the distinctive designs and reasonable prices. Then lunch at local restaurant. |
| 13.30 : | Leave the town by boat. Enjoy a leisure journey over the magnificent Khao Laem Lake. Glimpses of the underwater temple and floating houses scattering around. |
| 14.30 : | Pick up by van and continue further down to Thong Papoom district. |
| 16.00 : | Stop at local market in Thong Papoom town to buy some necessary items for jungle stay. Continue a journey along the road featuring the impressive mountain and lake view. |
| 16.30 : | Change the vehicle to 4x4 transport truck. Begin the off-beaten journey that runs along the dirt track cutting through the tropical farms mixed with teak forest plantation and the splendid bamboos in the exceptionnally beautiful area. |
| 17.30 : | Reach the campsite in a very nice setting by the natural stream. Relax. |
| 18.00 : | Thai dinner with its authentic taste in the candlelit night. Enjoy the overnight stay on the treehouses amidst the peaceful natural surroundings. |
| Day 4 : Jungle
trek, white-water rafting, off-beaten journey, Hellfire Pass Memorial

| 09.30 : | Start a jungle trek along the stream (30 minutes) and then take a bamboo raft back (30- 45 minutes depending on how strong the current is). Have great fun with a wild journey on the rapid stream and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the riverine forest. |
| 11.00 : | Arrive the campsite. Shower then lunch. |
| 13.00 : | Get out of the forest by 4x4 local truck. |
| 13.30 : | Reach the village, continue a journey to Hellfire Pass Memorial. |
| 14.00 : | Upon arrival, take a nice walk along the trail to glimpse the Konyu Cutting Site, the most difficult part of the railway construction during WWII. |
| 15.30 : | Depart for the conservation area in the Kwai Yai valley. |
| 16.30 : | Reach the accommodation inside the national park. Relax and leisure. Dinner and overnight stay. |
| Day 5 : Short
walk into the wild elephant habitat, hiking (approx. 4 hours round trip)
on the nature trail along the province’s most stunning Erawan Waterfall,
boat trip (2 hours approx.) over the lake with its dramatic scenery. Overnight
stay at the floating resort (not move) in the peaceful location overlooking
the lake. (Meal : ABF / Lunch / Dinner) (Overnight : Resort in Srinakarin Dam) |

| 08.00 : | Start an easy and short walk (1 hour on a circle route) into the significant wild elephant habitat. Observe footprints, dung, rub marks on the trees and destruction signs (such as plants) caused by wild elephants living in this forest. |
| 09.00 : | Leave for Erawan National Park, 10 kms. from the campsite (or 3 kms. from Erawan Lake Resort) |
| 09.20 : | Upon arrival, start to hike on the nature trail running in parallel with the stunnigly impressive waterfall. The total route to the top level of the waterfall is about 1.5 kilometres, taking 3 hours approximately to finish the complete route. The upper stretch of the trail is quite steep at some points but it is really rewarding to climb up to the top where the amazingly stunning cliff, more than 100 metres high, awaits. |
| 13.00 : | Picnic lunch with the soothing sound of nature by the waterfall. Leave the park and continue a journey to the northern tip of Srinakarin Lake.Enjoy the dramactically beautiful scenery. |
| 14.30 : | Attain relaxation while cruising the spectacular lake by long-tailed boat. Glimpses of floating rafthouses and the fabulous scenery of the lake. |
| 16.30 : | Once finish, check in to the floating resort in the serene atmosphere on the lake. Enjoy at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay. |
| Day 6 : Morning
at leisure, then scenic drive along the dirt track cutting through the
natural forest with its dramatic view. Overnight stay at Karen Homestay

Remark: View point of the lake in the middle of the route is stunningly beautiful, pretty much like that of Pi Pi Island in southern Thailand. |
| 16.00 : | Reach the local Karen village inside the natural forest. Nice walk around the village and its rice farms, chat with the locals while observing their local activities in the yards. Dinner and overnight stay on the treehouse. |
| Day 7 : Nature
trek through the trail along the creeks running through the province’s
most beautiful limestone Than Lod Cave. Return to Kanchanaburi or Bangkok
or continue a journey further north. (Meal : ABF / Lunch / -) |

| 10.00 : | Leave the village. Start a nature trek along the stream running down through the dramatic Taan Lod Cave. |
