Thereafter, have a good fun with elephant ride and bamboo rafting along the historical River Kwai. Itinerary :
07.00 : Pick up from hotels in Kanchanaburi town.
09.00 : Upon arrival, proceed to the wildlife sanctuary in the River Kwai valley (40 min. drive fromthe town) En route enjoy the picturesque scenery along the River Kwai with its magnificent limestone mountains backdrop.
09.40 : Start trekking into the forest nearby. The circle trekking route runs up and down the mixed forest dominated by bamboos. Appreciate its patterns and shapes. Along this approximately 1.5 kms. nature trail in the significant wildlife habitat, footprints or other common signs such as dung piles indicating the presence of wild elephants will be observed as this area has usually been frequented in dry season (Dec-Jan, and Mar-April) by the wild elephants living in the sanctuary. Other outstanding features of the tropical forest will also be a key subject of nature interpretation given by the experienced forest rangers. The view point in the middle of the route provides a marvelous view of the stream running through the mountain valley along which the wild elephants follow for water in hot season. Up there, contribute to the forest conservation by helping the rangers plant the tree in a simple but fantastic way. Enjoy coffee/tea break and relaxation in the serenity of the forest.
12.00 : Once finish, enjoy picnic lunch amidst the natural surroundings by the stream.
13.00 : After Lunch, continue to the elephant camp by the River Kwai.
14.00 : Excited with soft adventure on the elephant back and then bamboo rafting.
15.40 : Enjoy the train journey from Wang Poh to Tha Kilaen stations along the historical Death Railway running in parallel with the well known River Kwai.
16.40 : Arrive Tha Kilaen station, pick up and proceed to Kanchanaburi town.
17.30 : Upon arrival, transfer to the accommodation.
