Lakewood Country Club Conveniently situated just outside of Bangkok at the 18km mark of the Bang-na Trad highway, this course is aptly named, as it comprises "Lake'', "Wood'' and "Rock'' nines. The relatively flat terrain is enhanced by a profusion of hazards, flowers and shrubs. Water features on twenty-two of the twenty-seven holes and the course is well-known for its dog-legs, its palatial clubhouse, its guest-friendly policy and its Japanese membership. At the signature seventh hole on the "Wood" nine, most players will opt to play their shot well left, in order to avoid the huge lateral water hazard which stretches right across the fairway.
