Day 1: Transfer from Bangkok by coach to
the Eastern Seaboard's top course, Laem
Chaining International Country Club, a Jack
Nicklaus-designed 27hole layout. The Mountain, Lake
and Creek nines tell you all you need to know about
this superb course, packed with hazards, undulating
fairways and elevated greens. Revel in the very luxurious
clubhouse. After the round, stop by the fascinating
Sri Racha Tiger Zoo, a wildlife park with cuddly tiger
cubs, crocodiles, camels, ostriches and others smiling
far the camera. Then head to your Pattaya resort accommodation
for check in and dinner.

Day 2:
It's only 20 minutes to the scenic Phoenix
Golf & Country Club, where Denis Griffiths
has manicured 27 holes into a landscape that offers
bath views of the sea and the magnificent Buddha image
carved into a hillside. Choose your nines depending
an how much of a challenge you want. After two days
of golf you need to relax, so visit the Cliff Spa in
the Royal Cliff Beach Resort for a full body treatment.
Then you are ready for an evening cabaret at the famed
Alcazar. |
Day 3:
Take a day off for beach activities with a day trip
to nearby Lain Island, a popular spot for swimming,
scuba diving, sailing, looking at coral or simply lazing
on the soft sand. Your boat will get you back in time
for dinner in one of Pattaya's many seafood restaurants,
or for the romantically inclined try traditional Thai
food at Sugar Hut's uniquely authentic Thai style houses. |
Day 4:
Head for the Rayong Green Valley
Country Club, a 30-minute drive south of Pattaya.
This intriguing course, designed by Peter Thompson,
is built on the side of a hill, providing a lot of unusual-and
difficult-lies and club choices. Very picturesque with
lots of rocky outcroppings. Afterwards visit Poyang
town and enjoy dinner in one of the local restaurants.
Buy some of the region's famed fruit.

5: Try a Thai-style breakfast of rice congee
to ready you for the day's golf at Natural
Park Resort Golf Club, a Japanese-influenced
course with lots of water hazards. Created by Thai
Takenaka, with yet another luxurious clubhouse, the
course has a very tropical favour with lots of palm
trees. In the afternoon, visit the Royal Garden Plaza
to see the astonishing Ripley's Believe It or Not
Museum. Afterwards stroll around to discover the mall's
marvellous shopping and restaurants.

Day 6:
For a leisure day with a cultural feel, enjoy the extensive
collections of orchids and palms at Nong Nooch Village,
then take in the cultural show, elephant activities
and small zoo where you can touch the animals. In the
afternoon drive to nearby Wat Yen, a temple with fascinating
architectural styles including a beautiful Chinese pavilion.
In the evening, try the delicious seafood served at
dinner on Bang Saray fishing pier. |
Day 7:
Breakfast and checkout, before heading back to Bangkok.
On the way stop at Royal Lakeside
Golf Club & Resort located on the Bang Pakong
River, for a breezy game amid picturesque fairways.
The white clubhouse is superb. After a late lunch, return
to Bangkok. |
